Designed for the LMP1 class, the Mecachrome V634P1 is a further evolution of the V634, which incorporates a direct injection system to tailor it to endurance racing. Having completed a thorough dyno programme, the engine powered a CEFC TRSM Racing’s pair of Ginetta LMP1 cars at the 2018 Le Mans 24 Hours, with one car taking the chequered flag.
